Blue.
I forgot this jacket existed until I went digging in my coat closet. Walla... Bingo! The weather today was beautiful, so I wore my bright blue jacket. I might have to break out the shorts... but now that I think of it, it's supposed to snow tomorrow.
Oh, and how I could I forget to tell you about the grey elephant in the room. This is a 150 pound beauty I picked out from my grandparents home before my grandmother passed away and they sold their home.
The elephant resided by the edge of my grandparents driveway underneath a big shade tree buried in some hastas. It was so heavy it has only made it to our side walk (I am hoping it will walk itself to our backyard). Every time I look out my front window, I think of all the times we would pull into my grandparents driveway and the feeling of excitement and family (and potato salad)!
I can't quite decide what color to paint it, or how I am going to get it in the back yard if it doesn't get up and walk... but if I managed to mangle this beast 90 miles home, I can surely make it 100 feet.
...And the neighbors probably think I am a weirdo with an elephant in the driveway all winter! So, sorry, but not really, because secretly everyone needs a giant elephant.
